Last night, Golden Gate Wingmen featuring guitarist John Kadlecik (Furthur/John K. Band), bassist Reed Mathis (Tea Leaf Green/Billy & The Kids), drummer Jay Lane (Primus/RatDog) and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti (Dead & Company) began a Northeast Tour with a show at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. The group mixed Grateful Dead classics with Kadlecik originals and plenty of choice covers. Golden Gate Wingmen even treated fans to Kadlecik’s arrangement of “Ripple” en Francais complete with “Norwegian Wood” teases. Photographer Suzy Perler was on hand to capture the action.
