Phoenix Returns With New Song ‘Identical’

Phoenix unveiled the new single “Identical,” the band’s first new music since 2017’s Ti Amo. The song appears in the forthcoming movie On The Rocks, which stars Bill Murray, Marlon Wayans and Rashida Jones and was written and directed by Sofia Coppola.

“Identical” plays over the end credits of the film. Additionally, Phoenix composed the score for On The Rocks and curated its soundstrack. The band dedicated the song to their dear friend and collaborator who died last yer, Philippe Zdar.
