Phoebe Bridgers‘ November 2017 appearance on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic is among the latest videos plucked from the Los Angeles public station’s vault and uploaded to YouTube. Bridgers leads her band through five songs from her debut studio album, Stranger In The Alps for the set at her hometown radio station’s studios.
Jason Bentley hosted the session, which saw Phoebe backed by guitarist Harrison Whitford, bassist Christian Lee Hutson, keyboardist Ethan Grushka and drummer Marshall Vore. Bridgers and company opened their set with “Motion Sickness” and “Would You Rather.” Phoebe then introduced “Killer” as a song about “thinking I was going to kill people.” The singer-songwriter led the group through “Smoke Signals” and “Scott Street” to close the set.
