Phish‘s WaterWheel Foundation, the organization founded in 1997 to oversee the band’s various charitable activities, will celebrate another banner year with a pre-show celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City on January 1.

Tickets for the pre-show celebration go on sale this Friday, November 6 at 12 p.m. ET via the band’s ticketing site. Those who want to attend must already have a ticket for the actual Phish show at MSG on the 1st. Here’s what your ticket to the pre-show Phish WaterWheel celebration gets you:

  • A two hour pre-show with complimentary cocktails and a light dinner (full bar/sandwiches and snacks).
  • A WaterWheel event poster designed by Jim Pollock (edition of 300)
  • Early entrance into the Concert Venue
  • A raffle and/or and auction to win autographed items and memorabilia from Phish Archives
  • Access to a private lounge at set break
  • A specialty chocolate bar created and donated by Asher’s Chocolates.
  • The opportunity to help lift a great organization

The MSG pre-show celebration will benefit Women Helping Battered Women, Vermont’s largest organization dedicated to addressing the impact of domestic violence on individuals and the community. Based in Burlington, and serving all of Chittenden County, WHBW served over 4,500 individuals last year through a wide range of services including 24/7 hotline support, emergency and transitional housing, legal advocacy services, economic stability programming, advocacy and support to children and youth, and community education regarding domestic/dating violence and healthy relationships. The mission of WHBW is to assist in the transition to a safe, independent life for all of those who have been affected physically, sexually, emotionally, or economically by domestic abuse; and to promote a culture that fosters justice, equity and safety. WHBW is supported by Mike Gordon and his wife, Sue.

Phish kicks off a four-night NYE run at MSG on December 30.
