Phish’s Trey Anastasio & Page McConnell Perform ‘Waste’ At The Barn

Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio and keyboaridst Page McConnell shared a video of a performance of “Waste.” The session took place recently at Anastasio’s The Barn recording studio in Vermont.
The footage of “Waste” premiered before last Friday's edition of Anastasio's ongoing The Beacon Jams weekly livestream series from The Beacon Theatre in New York. Trey and Page previously shared a recording from the same session at The Barn of “Evening Song” off their 2020 album Sigma Oasis, which also premiered before one of Trey’s Beacon Jams.
Anastasio played acoustic guitar and McConnell a Wurlitzer electric piano on “Waste,” which appeared on Phish’s 1996 studio album, Billy Breathes. Watch Trey and Page’s performance of “Waste” at The Barn below:
