Eleven years ago last Thursday, Phish held the second of two shows at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, which was also the second show of their Summer Tour 2012. The first set of the second show featured a cover of Ween’s “Roses Are Free,” and video footage assembled from eight different cameras was posted Friday on the 11th anniversary of its performance.

The Phish.net jam chart page for “Roses Are Free” currently has only three entries: the third time Phish played the song which was a 27-minute version on April 3, 1998, in Uniondale, New York on the Island Tour; a 35-minute version played during the midnight to sunrise set at Big Cypress on New Year’s Eve 1999; and the 10-minute version played on June 8, 2012.

Outside of those three instances, “Roses Are Free” has consistently hovered around the five-minute mark when Phish covers the song Ween recorded for their 1994 album Chocolate And Cheese. The Phish.net jam chart description of the “Roses Are Free” played on June 8, 2012 at the venue formerly called The Centrum, describes the improvised section as, “A very nice melodic jam that turns dark develops as ‘Roses’ proper is winding down.”

Thanks to the impressive work of videographer LazyLightning55a, who compiled 8-cam video footage of the 10-minute “Roses Are Free,” the jam-chart-worthy cover can be revisited from multiple angles below:
