Phish Releases Union College 1992 Recording On LivePhish

Phish has opened the vault to issue a recording of a show that took place nearly 25 years to the day prior to its release. The latest installment of the band’s LivePhish live archival series features a complete recording of Phish’s May 17, 1992 performance at Union College in Schenectady, New York with a filler from one night later at the Flynn in Burlington, Vermont.
Phish’s lone visit to Union College came as the penultimate stop on a 53-show spring tour. The band played the 2,500-capacity Achilles Rink on the campus of the small college. Among the highlights of a show that took place on keyboardist Page McConnell’s birthday are an all-time “Possum” featuring plenty of teases, a wild “Brother”/”Sanity” sequence and a euphoric “Harry Hood.” The standout “Mike’s Song” > “I Am Hydrogen” > “Weekapaug Groove” Phish laid down for their hometown fans in Burlington on the 18th is included as part of the filler.
5/17/92 Schenectady is available for purchase via LivePhish.com and for streaming through the LivePhish+ App.
