Last year Phish debuted a subscription streaming service dubbed “LivePhish+.” The band continues to share “new” archival recordings through LivePhish+ including the just released December 16, 1999.

An official recording of Phish’s December 16, 1999 performance from Raleigh, North Carolina is available for purchase via LivePhish.com and also available for streaming for those who subscribe to LivePhish+. We’re fans on the entire show, but there’s no doubt the highlight is an epic “Tweezer” that includes a beautiful major-key section those in attendance won’t ever forget.

Here’s a look at the setlist via Phish.net:

Set One: Wilson > Chalk Dust Torture, Lawn Boy, Limb By Limb, Horn, Back on the Train, Roggae, Heavy Things, Camel Walk, Possum

Set Two: Sand, The Mango Song, Wading in the Velvet Sea[1] > Tweezer > Runaway Jim Encore: Bittersweet Motel > Tweezer Reprise

[1] Ended with a short, spacey delay loop jam.

Notes: Before the show, Mike brought a big shaggy doll on the stage and sat it on top of his bass cabinet. Possum included Shafty teases from Mike. Velvet Sea ended with a short, spacey delay loop jam.
