If Phish Put Out A Video For ‘Your Pet Cat’ It Might Look Something Like This

On October 31, 2014 Phish impressed even the most jaded of fans by unveiling their take on a Disney album of sound effects issued in the ’60s dubbed Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Of The Haunted House as their second set at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The band came up with original music to augment the sound effects found on each of the LP’s tracks. One of the best arrangements they created was for the track “Your Pet Cat.”
The funk workout almost sounds like a “Tube” jam along with Laura Olsher’s original narration from the LP. Phish has since performed “Your Pet Cat” four additional times to the delight of fans. If the quartet was to ever release an official video for the track, it would probably look a little something like this mash-up our friend MKdevo came up with:
