JamBase partner Osiris Media‘s Phish podcast Undermine launched its fourth season, which will focus on the band’s 1997 Fall Tour and more. The first episode is available now featuring former Phish manager John Paluska.

Season four of Undermine will start by examining 25 essential Phish shows from the 1990s. Those episodes will be followed by discussions about each of the concerts the band played on their hallowed Fall ‘97 run.

The first episode with Paluska focuses on Phish’s November 2, 1990 concert at the University of Colorado’s Glenn Miller Ballroom in Boulder. Speaking to hosts Tom Marshall and RJ Bee, Paluska details the band’s history with Colorado, which began with their first tour of the state in 1988.

According to the episode notes:

We start this season with 11/2/90, from Boulder, Colorado, with guest John Paluska. This show is notable because of course, this is Phish’s second trip to Colorado. In 1990, they would play 20 shows there. This show was a widely circulated tape, with some notable music moments we’ll discuss. And of course, John Paluska was Phish’s manager from 1990 – 2004, and helped the band grow in every way during the 1990s.
