Phish Announces New Year’s Run 2021
The band will once again ring in the new year at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Phish‘s New Year’s Run 2021 will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The band will perform four shows spanning December 29, 30, 31 (New Year’s Eve) and January 1, 2022 (New Year’s Day).
Phish first performed at MSG on December 30, 1994 and have held 64 concerts at the storied venue. The upcoming return will mark the band’s 14th New Year’s Run at The Garden, where a banner hangs in the rafters in recognition of Phish’s 13-show “Baker’s Dozen” residency in 2017. Phish’s most recent concert at MSG was held on New Year’s Eve 2019, which ended with guitarist Trey Anastasio stuck hanging above the stage on a malfunctioning platform for most of the third set.
A pre-sale ticket lottery is currently underway via Phish Ticketing. Entries will be accepted through 12 p.m. ET on Monday, October 4. Fans will be notified of their ticket status by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 6. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 12 p.m. ET on Friday, October 8 through Ticketmaster. Travel packages (hotel and tickets) go on sale here Thursday, October 7 at 12 p.m. ET.
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination for ticketholders 12 and older is required for entry. Those 11 and under must provide a negative test result obtained with 48 hours of doors.
