Phish Announces New Haven 1995 Archival Release

The band’s December 2, 1995 concert is getting the LivePhish treatment.

Phish will release official audio of their December 2, 1995 concert at New Haven Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut this Friday, November 11. The recording will be available for streaming by LivePhish+ subscribers and for download/purchase in multiple formats.

Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro revealed the news on SiriusXM’s Phish Radio on Monday afternoon as part of a special From The Archives episode. Shapiro also spun tracks from the upcoming release.

The quartet’s December 2, 1995 show came as part of a legendary month in Phish history. A 15-minute “Tweezer,” transcendent “Reba” and what still stands as the most recent performance of Jon Fishman‘s “Faht” are among the highlights. Watch fan-shot video of the “New Haven Tweezer” below:

Reba did not have the whistling ending and Possum included an All Fall Down signal. Faht featured Fish on acoustic guitar.
