Phish Shares ‘Mountains In The Mist’ Video From Hampton: Pro-Shot

Most pro-shot videos shared by Phish on YouTube feature improvisational highlights from the quartet’s concerts. However, the latest video contains a more poignant moment from a recent show.

Phish followed a memorable sequence of “Carini” > “Sand” > “Golden Age” > “Twist” on Friday night at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia with the beautiful ballad “Mountains In The Mist.” Guitarist Trey Anastasio originally premiered the song as part of his debut solo tour in 1999. A few months later Phish started performing the Anastasio/Marshall gem. “Mountains In The Mist” has been a rarity in the current era, as the quartet has only played the tune four times since 2010.
