Late Night At The Heliograph: Phish Confirms Mondegreen DJ Sets By Questlove, Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn & Others

Phish’s Mondegreen festival will feature late night DJ sets by The Roots’ Questlove and Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn (Made Of Oak). The band also revealed a slate of comedians who will perform at the event taking place this weekend in Dover, Delaware.

Phish will perform two sets each of the four nights of the festival held at The Woodlands. Late night DJ sets on Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16 will be provided by Flying Mojito Brothers.

Following Phish’s two sets on Saturday, August 17, Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn will be the late night DJ host. Sylvan Esso covered Phish’s song “Farmhouse” for JamBase’s Cluster Flies compilation and Sanborn, who is a longtime Phish fan, appears excited about getting to DJ the fest.

The Roots drummer Questlove, who has performed with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio on many occasions, will bring his immense DJing talents to Mondegreen for a late night set following Phish’s final weekend performance on Sunday, August 18.

The late night DJ sets will be held at the “Heliograph” which will come “to life with late night DJ sets.” Located “in the back of the concert field, the towering Heliograph rises into the sky, a retro-futuristic beacon that invites you to ascend its octagonal tower for a panoramic view.”

Phish also announced Here Come The Jokers: Live Comedy at Mondegreen. Comedians will perform sets inside the air-conditioned Leigh Fordham Hall. Comedic performers include Rory Scovel, Dave Hill, Jordan Jensen and Gianmarco Soresi. Comedy set times will be revealed later.
