Phish Lyricist Tom Marshall Unveils ‘Under The Scales’ Episode On Tapers

Last week Phish lyricist Tom Marshall released the first few installments of his new podcast, Under The Scales. This week Marshall has unveiled the latest episode, which is a deep dive into the role of tapers and taper culture.

Marshall enlisted RJ and Jonathan of fellow Phish podcast Helping Friendly Podcast as co-hosts for the 52-minute podcast. The trio start off giving a bit of background on the history of taping and then welcome longtime taper Lenny Stubbe to give a first-hand account of what goes into taping, which bands allow taping, how taper tickets work and many other topics.
