Phish Teases Upcoming Live Archival Release

The first Phish live archival release of 2021 arrives next Friday, January 29. Phish archivist will announce the selection and spin highlights on the next episode of Phish Radio’s From The Archives.

Phish Radio premieres the new installment of From The Archives this Monday, January 25 at 6 p.m. ET. Once again, the news was revealed on the SiriusXM channel’s social feeds with an image that includes a hint at what concert will be released later this month.

The picture features an image of a small sunflower that appears on the Kansas state flag. Additionally, Kansas is nicknamed the Sunflower state.

Phish has performed eight shows in Kansas over the course of their history as per Phish.net. The band made their debut in the state on April 1, 1992 at Liberty Hall in Lawrence. Memorial Hall in Kansas City then hosted Phish on April 13, 1992; August 17, 1993 and June 13, 1994. Four additional plays in Kansas took place at Sandstone Amphitheatre in Bonner Springs between 1998 and 2003.
