Phish Drummer Jon Fishman To Return To Nectars

This year marks the 40th anniversary for Burlington, Vermont restaurant/bar/nightclub Nectar’s. Phish performed regularly at the club in their early years and even named their 1992 major label debut, A Picture Of Nectar, after the room’s original proprietor. With this in mind, we’re glad to see at least one member of Phish will perform at the venue during its 40th anniversary celebration.

As pointed out by Jambands.com, drummer Jon Fishman will perform at Nectar’s on Thursday, March 26 along with his longtime Jazz Mandolin Project collaborator Jamie Masefield, bassist Tyler Bolles and guitarist Doug Perkins. Tickets are on sale now.

The venue’s 40th anniversary celebration begins this Saturday, February 21, with a show called “Project 1975” featuring Josh Panda, Clint Bierman, Russ Lawton, Ed Grasmeyer and Tyler Mast set to play tracks from the year Nectar’s opened.
