Phish Confirmed To Appear On AXS TV Jazz Fest Coverage

UPDATE 4/16 10:30 a.m. PT: AXS TV has revealed that it will air at least a portion of Phish’s Jazz Fest set from April 26 on Friday, May 3 at some point between 12:30 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. PT. Santana, The String Cheese Incident, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Jason Isbell and Galactic will be featured on May 1 followed by Vampire Weekend, Alabama Shakes, Irma Thomas, Anders Osborne, Amanda Shaw & the Cute Guys and Marcia Ball on May 2. Joining Phish on AXS TV’s May 3 broadcast will be Better Than Ezra, Bonerama, Theresa Anderson and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Finally, on May 4 AXS TV’s coverage includes Arcade Fire, John Fogerty, Voice of the Wetlands Allstars, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk with special guest Art Neville and The Radiators. Last month we shared the news that AXS TV will present live coverage of this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival between Thursday, May 1 and Sunday, May 4. Recently, AXS TV issued a press release which added Phish to the list of confirmed acts that will take part in the broadcast.

Phish, Christina Aguilera, Santana, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, The String Cheese Incident, John Fogerty, The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Boz Scaggs and John Hiatt have all confirmed participation in AXS TV’s broadcasts. Of course Phish is set to play Jazz Fest on April 26, so apparently not all of the performances AXS TV airs will be live.

AXS TV will provide festival coverage each day between May 1 and 4 starting at 12:30 p.m. PT and running through 8 p.m. PT.
