Phish Announces Summer Tour 2016

Though Phish front man Trey Anastasio caused a stir among the band’s fans during the final night of Riviera Maya when he mentioned the group will not be “playing very many concerts for a while,” we’ll only have to wait until June for Phish’s return to the live setting. Today the quartet has announced a 23-date Summer Tour.
Phish will play a mix of new venues to the band as well as old stomping grounds. Of particular note, the foursome will make their debut at historic Wrigley Field in Chicago June 24 – 25. Other stops on the tour include a tour-opening stop at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota June 22, two-night stands at The Mann in Philadelphia (June 28 – 29) and The Gorge in George, Washington (July 15 – 16) as well as three-night stands at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, New York (July 1 – 3) and Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (July 18 – 20). As usual, the band’s Summer Tour will end with a three-night stand at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado September 2 – 4.
A lottery for tickets is currently underway via Phish Ticketing with entries being accepted until Sunday, February 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET. General on-sales begin Thursday, February 25.
