Phish‘s upcoming tour includes the Curveball festival, which will be held at Watkins Glen International in Watkins Glen, New York August 17 – 19. Curveball will host a JEMP Records pop-up store that will feature “a vast array of vinyl releases” from the band’s catalog including the first-ever vinyl release of Slip, Stitch & Pass as well as side project pressings.

Slip, Stitch & Pass is Phish’s second live album and was originally released on October 28, 1997. The LP contains highlights from the quartet’s March 1, 1997 performance at the Markthalle in Hamburg. A festival version of Slip, Stitch & Pass will be pressed on 2 color splatter (blue and purple), foil numbered LPs that will be accompanied by a screen print celebrating the album designed by Drew Millward. While the remainder of the limited run will be sold through Dry Goods and in stores later this year, versions sold at stores will not feature colored vinyl.

Curveball’s JEMP Records store will feature vinyl listening stations and copies of albums on vinyl to allow festival-goers to “pick up, open, read, feel and smell” the releases. The store will include a “cold-storage merch check” that will enable purchasers to keep their vinyl records in air conditioning all weekend.

Tickets for Curveball are on sale now here.
