Phil Lesh Announces Return To Terrapin Crossroads

By Nate Todd Dec 26, 2019 9:18 am PST

Phil Lesh will play his first headlining concert since August on January 2, 2020 at his own Terrapin Crossroads after having back surgery in early fall. Guitarist Stu Allen, drummer John Molo, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and guitarist Lebo (Dan Lebowitz) of ALO will join the Grateful Dead bassist in TxR’s Grate Room for the special performance.

Lesh played publicly for the first time since having surgery to celebrate the arrival of the SmartTrain line in Larkspur, California on December 13 near TxR in Marin County. Phil — alongside Allen, his son Grahame Lesh and California congressman Jared Huffman — played a short set containing Dead classics and a few choice covers. But the January 2 show will mark Phil’s live return to his beloved Terrapin Crossroads.

Note: Tickets to the show are sold out.
