Three Phil Lesh & Friends concerts slated for Halloween Weekend at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York have been postponed to allow Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh more time to recover from back surgery. Dark Star Orchestra will now play the famed venue those same nights, October 31 – November 2.

“Phil’s surgery was a success and we are working with Phil to reschedule the shows and will announce new dates as soon as we can,” reads part of a note from The Cap. Lesh previously canceled his September dates due to what he described as “minor back surgery.”

Tickets for the Phil Lesh & Friends shows that were slated for October 31 – November 2 will be honored at the new dates. Refunds are available through the point of purchase for those who want to take that option. Watch Phil discuss the postponement:

Dark Star Orchestra will recreate setlists from past Grateful Dead shows played at The Capitol Theatre over the course of their October 31 – November 2 run at the venue. Tickets for the DSO concerts go on sale Tuesday, October 15 at 12 p.m. ET (10/31, 11/1, 11/2).
