Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh is hosting a benefit concert at his Terrapin Crossroads venue to aid those affected by the Northern California wild fires. Love Is In The Air: A Musical Fundraiser For NorCal Fires is taking place tonight, Friday, October 13 at the Grate Room at TXR in San Rafael, California.
Along with Lesh, tonight’s benefit lineup includes Danny Click & The Hell Yeahs!, San Geronimo, Elliott Peck, The Casual Coalition and Jerry Hannan, with others expected to participate. Tickets are available via Terrapin Crossroads. All proceeds will benefit those affected by the deadly wildfires.
Lesh will also appear at Terrapin Crossroads tomorrow night as part of guitarist Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz’s Birthday Bash. Lebo, Lesh, Jason Crosby, Bobby Vega, Jay Lane, Jennifer Hartswick, Lesley Grant and Michael Bello are slated to appear at the event that has now also become a fundraiser for the victims of the wildfires. Tickets to that event are available via this link.
Additionally, the Spiritualized show originally slated to be held at Gundlach Bundschu Winery on October 16 has been moved to Terrapin Crossroads. A Red Cross donation station will be made available on the night of the show from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
