Jamgrass act The Infamous Stringdusters returned to Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California on Friday night. Phil emerged towards the end of the first set to sit-in with the ‘Dusters on four songs.

Lesh, who had sat-in with The Infamous Stringdusters previously at Terrapin and at the Lockn’ Festival, first came out for a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Big River.” The Infamous Stringdusters and Phil Lesh then performed the Garcia/Hunter classic “He’s Gone.” A take on Charlie Monroe’s “Rosalee McFall” came next before Phil and the ‘Dusters ended the set with “Scarlet Begonias.”

Two days later The Infamous Stringdusters honored the late Walter Becker by covering Steely Dan’s “Reelin’ In The Years” at the Strawberry Music Festival.
