Phil Lesh will bring his Phil Lesh & Friends project back to The Warfield in San Francisco next month in honor of the venue’s 100th birthday year. The Grateful Dead bassist and an impressive roster of friends featuring members of Goose, Trey Anastasio Band and more will play the historic room on December 27 and 28.
Lesh will be joined by Grahame Lesh and Goose’s Rick Mitarotonda on guitars, drummer John Molo and the Trey Anastasio Band horn section of Jennifer Hartswick, James Casey and Natalie Cressman for both shows. Holly Bowling will handle keyboard duties on the 27th with Jason Crosby in the role on the 28th.
Rick Mitarotonda, Grahame Lesh, John Molo and the TAB Horns were part of Phil's band at The Capitol Theatre last month for the second weekend of his three-weekend residency at the Port Chester, New York venue. Crosby and Bowling performed with Phil frequently during the Terrapin Crossroads days.
