Phil Lesh & Friends Will Celebrate 50th Anniversary Of 1974 Grateful Dead Show At Sunday Daydream Vol. 3

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh will celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the band’s shows this summer at the previously announced Sunday Daydream Vol. 3. The next installment of the concert series takes place at McNears Beach Park in San Rafael, California on July 21.

Phil Lesh & Friends will mark the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s show at the Hollywood Bowl on July 21, 1974 at Sunday Daydream Vol. 3. Joining Lesh will be a Phil & Friends lineup consisting of guitarists Stanley Jordan, Lebo (Dan Lebowitz) and Grahame Lesh, harpist Mikaela Davis, drummer John Molo and multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby.

The full music lineup for Sunday Daydream Vol. 3 will be announced at a later date. The single-day event hosted by Terrapin Crossroads Presents follows the inaugural Sunday Daydream in July 2023. Sunday Daydream Vol. 2 took place in August 2023.

Sunday Daydream Vol. 4 is slated for Sunday, August 18. Tickets to Sunday Daydream Vol. 3 and Sunday Daydream Vol. 4 are on sale now.
