Phil Lesh Birthday Bash At Terrapin Crossroads

On March 15 Phil Lesh will celebrate his 74th birthday. In honor of the occasion, Terrapin Crossroads will host two four-night Phil & Friends run in the Grate Room of the San Rafael, CA venue leading up to the big day.

For the first run, which is set for March 6 -9, Lesh will be joined by Furthur members John Kadlecik and Joe Russo, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby and an as-of-yet unannounced special guest. The second run is set for March 12 through Phil’s March 15 birthday. Lesh will be joined by Anders Osborne, Joe Russo, keyboardist Adam MacDougall and “other surprise guests” for the second run.

In addition to the above, Terrapin Crossroads will host a Mardi Gras House Party on March 10. The venue’s Mardi Gras party will feature non-stop music including Phil Lesh & Friends with Stu Allen and other special guests.

Tickets for each show, with the exception of March 15 ($100 per ticket), run $79. The tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. PT today at the venue’s box office. Remaining tickets go up for grabs starting tomorrow via Terrapin’s online store. Purchasers can grab up to four tickets for each show except the Birthday Night (limit of 2).
