Perpetual Groove Announces Extensive Fall Tour

Ever since reuniting last May, Perpetual Groove have stuck to the “weekend warrior” format in which the quartet would mostly play shows on the weekends to allow themselves to get back into the…groove. This fall the band will go in the other direction by embarking on their most extensive tour in over three years.

PGroove, who also revealed they will release a new EP this summer, will kick off their late summer/fall plans at home on August 18th at the Georgia Theatre in Athens before making a quick run up to Chattanooga to play the Southern Brewers Festival on August 20. The tour begins in earnest with a two-night stand at Lucas Theatre in the city where the band was born, Savannah, on September 16 – 17. From there, PGroove have shows planned for Raleigh, Baltimore and Richmond ahead of an appearance at this year’s Catskill Chill Music Festival. Late September finds the quartet visiting Columbus and Cincinnati and Nashville as well as performing at Charlotte’s Neighborhood Theatre on October 1.

After a few weeks off, Perpetual Groove returns to the road in late October for shows in Asheville and Fayetteville before heading to Colorado to perform in Boulder, Fort Collins and Denver. PGroove celebrates Halloween at The Parish in Austin and begins November with visits to Houston, Dallas, New Orleans and Pensacola. The band swings down to Florida for three gigs at the start of December and is scheduled to end 2016 with three nights at Terminal West in Atlanta December 29 – 31.
