Percussion Ensemble From Connecticut High School Covers ‘Divided Sky’

The Naugatuck High School Percussion ensemble in Naugatuck, Connecticut will soon engage in competitive performances against teams from other high schools. On Saturday, the Naugatuck High School Percussion held an open rehearsal, where they unveiled their 2017 program – a version of the Phish classic “Divided Sky.”

Trey Anastasio and the Phish organization gave NHS Percussion permission to perform the song and Anastasio collaborator Don Hart helped with the compositional aspect of the piece. While the students are still polishing their rendition of “Divided Sky,” the video below captured by Paul Ryan displays how talented the group of youngsters are and is impressive to say the least.
