Pearl Jam Week On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon

Late Night With Jimmy Fallon will celebrate the release of Pearl Jam’s new Lightning Bolt LP by dedicating a weeks worth of musical performances to the band. Not only will Pearl Jam perform for two nights during the week of October 21 -25, but Fallon will round out the week with other musicians covering the band’s songs.

The action starts on Monday, October 21 when The Avett Brothers team with Chris Cornell to perform “Footsteps.” Then, on Tuesday, Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold will return to TV for the first time in two years to cover “Corduroy” with special guests. Next, on Wednesday, country rocker Dierks Bentley will combine forces with The Roots and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready for what’s being called “a one-of-a-kind performance.” Finally, Pearl Jam will be Jimmy’s musical guest on Thursday and Friday.

Pearl Jam kicks off a fall tour in Pittsburgh tonight.
