Pearl Jam Teases ‘Let’s Play Two’ Live Release

Seattle rockers Pearl Jam have just shared video from what appears to be a live release titled Let’s Play Two. From the looks of the clip, it appears the concert film documents the band’s 2016 two-night stand at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The only details shared on a website for Let’s Play Two are the words, “coming soon.”

Wrigley holds a special place in frontman Eddie Vedder’s heart as he is a huge Cubs fan. The Cubs broke a 100+ year drought in 2016 by winning the World Series. “Let’s play two” was part of late Chicago Cubs great Ernie Banks’ catchphrase, “It’s a beautiful day for a ballgame…let’s play two!”

Pearl Jam’s 2016 concerts at Wrigley Field took place on August 20 and 22. The band had previously played the famed ballpark on July 19, 2013. Listings for CD and vinyl versions of Let’s Play Two surfaced last month on Amazon but were quickly pulled. Stay tuned for details.
