Pearl Jam Makes Bonnaroo Debut In 2008

By Scott Bernstein Dec 17, 2015 8:20 am PST

Earlier this month Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament and manager Kelly Curtis took part in a Twitter Q&A and confirmed that the Seattle rockers will tour North America in 2016 and are planning to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Yesterday, Consequence Of Sound reported Pearl Jam will headline next year’s installment of Bonnaroo as part of the tour according to a pair of industry sources. Eddie Vedder and Co. have played the Manchester, Tennessee festival once before in 2008.

The 2008 installment of Bonnaroo was headlined by Pearl Jam, Metallica, Jack Johnson and Kanye West as organizers continued a move away from the jam heavy lineups of early years. Pearl Jam treated festivalgoers to a 26-song performance that included the live debut of “All Night,” plenty of classics, the first-ever full version of “W.M.A.” and three choice covers.

Let’s look at video highlights of Pearl Jam’s Bonnaroo debut:
