Eddie Vedder hosted an all-star benefit concert for the organization he co-founded, EB Research Partnership (EBRP). The intimate Reportin’ For Duty event held on Saturday at Humble Baron at the Nearest Green Whiskey Distillery outside Nashville saw the Pearl Jam frontman join Post Malone on a Tom Petty cover, alongside a few other collaborations.
Eddie Vedder and his wife Jill Vedder co-founded the non-profit EBRP, whose mission is finding a cure for the skin disease Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). The Reportin’ For Duty concert takes its name from a phrase late actor Leslie Jordan used to describe his call for service.

Along with Vedder and Malone, the 2024 Reportin’ For Duty concert also presented performances by Jelly Roll, The War and Treaty, Ruby Amanfu, Jake Wesley Rogers and Dan Spencer.
In addition to a short solo set, Vedder accompanied Malone on Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.” The pair’s time onstage together also included takes on Pearl Jam’s “Better Man” and Wayne Cochran’s classic often covered by Vedder and PJ, “Last Kiss.”
