‘PBS NewsHour’ Shares Bruce Springsteen Interview

Earlier this year, veteran rocker Bruce Springsteen issued his first book Born To Run. Springsteen accompanied the 500-page memoir with a companion album Chapter & Verse featuring a career-spanning collection of recordings. The Boss recently spoke about the book and more in a lengthy interview recorded for PBS NewsHour.

Springsteen sat for a discussion with the show’s Jeffrey Brown that lasted 40 minutes. The wide-ranging chat covers Springsteen’s early life and career and some of the influences on his songwriting. The Boss also reveals some of the books that have inspired him, details his battles with depression, explains his current view of politics and much more.
