Nashville band Crooked Corners consider themselves “The Ultimate Pavement Experience.” The tribute act played the Stone Fox in Nashville last week, where they were joined by two members of Pavement at various points of the show.

As SPIN points out, The Crooked Corners were joined by vocalist/percussionist Bob Nastanovich and drummer Steve West for renditions of “Stereo” and “Conduit For Sale.” Nastanovich also helped out on “Range Life.” Nastanovich was so impressed with The Crooked Corners according to Nashville Scene he told the band, “It was always so awkward onstage [in Pavement]. There was sort of a misery and tension — I don’t see that [here]. What I do see is I see you guys playing our songs better than us.”
