Paul Simon Streams New Album ‘In The Blue Light’

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Paul Simon will issue a new album entitled In The Blue Light next week. NPR Music’s First Listen series made the record available to stream in advance of its official release on September 7.

Produced by Simon’s frequent collaborator Roy Halee, In The Blue Light is made up of 10 new recordings of “personal favorites from [Simon’s] body of work.” Guest contributors include Wynton Marsalis, Bill Frisell, Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano, Steve Gadd and yMusic.
