In recent years, singer-songwriter Paul Simon has addressed that he will retire one day and doesn’t expect his days in the limelight as a songwriter and live performer to last forever. From the billing of a July show it appears Paul Simon will indeed ride off into the sunset soon.

Paul Simon will play London’s Hyde Park on Sunday, July 15 as part of a lineup that also includes James Taylor & His All-Star Band and Bonnie Raitt with additional acts set to be announced. What’s interesting about the confirmation is that Simon’s set is billed as “Homeward Bound: The Farewell Performance.” Now, Simon and his reps haven’t 100% confirmed that the London show will indeed be Paul’s last live concert, but the verbiage “The Farewell Performance” instead of “The Farewell Performances” is ominous. However, it is possible Paul could be referring to the concert as his last in the U.K. Stay tuned for updates.
