Paul Simon Previews ‘Austin City Limits’ Debut

Veteran singer-songwriter Paul Simon will make his debut on the long running television program Austin City Limits with the premiere of his episode this weekend. A preview of Simon’s performance at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas has been made available in advance of its airing on PBS on Saturday, October 1.

Filmed on May 12, the concert featured the first live performance of “Stranger To Stranger” which served as the lead single and title track to Simon’s 2016 ablum. The taping also saw Simon and his band play another of the album’s singles, “Wristband,” which along with classic Simon tunes “You Can Call Me Al” and “That Was Your Mother” can be seen in the preview clips below:
