Paul Simon shared video of he and his wife Edie Brickell performing a song from quarantine. Simon and Brickell dueted on The Everly Brothers’ “I Wonder if I Care As Much.”
The song originally appeared as the B-side to The Everly Brothers’ 1958 hit, “Bye Bye Love.” A highly influential group, The Everly Brothers were a template of sorts for Simon & Garfunkel who would follow The Everly’s lead in the 1960s. The legendary duo nodded to The Everly Brothers by covering The Everly’s song “Wake Up Little Susie” at their landmark 1981 concert in Central Park.
