Paul McCartney Shares Acoustic Performance Of New Single

Last month we reported on the announcement of Paul McCartney’s long-in-the-making New album, which is set for an October 15th release here in the U.S. At the time, Macca shared audio of the title track for New, and today he’s unveiled an acoustic version of the tune. 
For New, McCartney enlisted four producers including Paul Epworth, Ethan Johns and Mark Ronson to work on the album, which contains 12 tracks and is his first new LP of original tracks since 2007. This afternoon the legendary former Beatle posted an acoustic version of “New” on his YouTube page which was recorded backstage at a recent concert in Regina. Macca started the tune by his lonesome, but was soon joined by his incredibly talented band. Take a look:
