Paul McCartney Offers Mix Of Old And New On Hollywood Boulevard

Parts of Hollywood Boulevard were closed off yesterday for a 15-song Paul McCartney concert for Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Kimmel aired “Lady Madonna” and “New” from Macca’s streetfront performance, while a stream of the whole set is available at MySpace.

Macca kicked off his set with “Magical Mystery Tour” and then offered the second-ever live performance of “Save Us” off his New album. The former Beatles/Wings front man also delivered the title track and “Everybody Out There” off the New album as well as a slew of Beatles and Wings classics including “Jet,” “Hey Jude” and “Band On The Run.”

According to Rolling Stone, a crowd of 10,000 watched McCartney’s outdoor performance.
