Paul McCartney Issues Previously Unreleased Demo Featuring Elvis Costello

On March 24, Paul McCartney will reissue his 1989 Flowers In The Dirt album, including a deluxe box set edition containing previously unreleased demos. Sir Paul has shared one of those demos featuring Elvis Costello with whom he co-wrote the track.

McCartney enlisted Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour and The Beatles mastermind George Martin provided string arrangements on Flowers In The Dirt. Costello and McCartney co-wrote several of the songs on Flowers In The Dirt such as “My Brave Face,” “You Want Her Too,” “Don’t Be Careless Love” and “That Day Is Done.” The album included those songs, as well as production and recording assistance from Costello.
