Levi’s Pioneer Sessions series features performances by musicians like The Shins, Dirty Projectors, Nas, She & Him, Swell Season, and Raphael Saadiq, all covering the music that inspired them in the first place.
The latest episode has Passion Pit paying tribute to the Smashing Pumpkins with their cover of the Pumpkins’ 1996 hit, “Tonight, Tonight.” The song keeps the original spirit but the trademark Passion Pit sound is unmistakably present. Download the track here and check out the making-of video below.
