Outside Lands Festival Unveils 2016 Lineup

The ninth annual Outside Lands Festival will take place in San Francisco’s historic Golden Gate Park August 5 – 7. Today, festival organizers Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly and Starr Hill have detailed the lineup for this year’s event which will be headlined by Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem.

Lionel Richie, Lana Del Rey, J. Cole, Duran Duran, Zedd, Ryan Adams, Major Lazer, Air and Sufjan Stevens join Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem at the top of this year’s lineup. Jason Isbell, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Lettuce, Con Brio, Vulfpeck and Moon Taxi are also among the bevy of Outside Lands ’16 acts announced today. Outside Lands will also host the debut live festival performance from The Muppets’ Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem. Watch Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem help announce this year’s lineup:

Both 3-day and single-day GA and VIP tickets go on sale this Thursday, April 7 at 10 a.m. PT via the festival’s website. The past five years of the festival have sold out. A portion of every ticket sold will directly benefit San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department.
