The first Outside Lands took place in 2008 and this year’s installment will be the eighth annual festival. A significant portion of every ticket sold will directly benefit San Francisco’s Recreation and Park Department. The festival has given more than $10 million to the department since its inception. Outside Lands is also known for its food and drink offerings. The Outside Lands 2015 food and drink lineup will be announced in the coming months.

Tickets for Outside Lands go on sale this Thursday, March 26 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster. Last year’s installment of Outside Lands sold out quickly and this year’s “Eager Beaver” ducats had the fastest sell-out in the history of the event.
