Oteil Burbridge Forms Oteil & Friends Project

Earlier this summer bassist Oteil Burbridge participated in an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit and revealed he would tour with a solo project entitled Oteil & Friends this November. Today, a pair of Oteil & Friends’ concerts have been announced.

Burbridge’s response on Reddit about Oteil & Friends mentioned the lineup would feature JGB keyboardist Melvin Seals, Soulive guitarist Eric Krasno, Furthur guitarist John Kadlecik, Primus/RatDog drummer Jay Lane, former Nth Power percussionist Weedie Braimah and vocalist Alfreda Gerald.

Oteil & Friends will play Soundstage in Baltimore on November 8. Then, Burbridge will bring the group to Le Poisson Rouge on November 9. A pre-sale for tickets to both shows will take place on Wednesday, August 23 and will be followed by the general on-sale on August 25.
