Paul and Sting started off the show by collaborating on “Brand New Day,” “The Boy In The Bubble” and “Fields Of Gold,” before Simon ceded the stage to the former Police front man. Sting offered a brief mix of solo and Police classics until Simon returned to help out on “Love Is The Seventh Wave” and “Mother & Child Reunion.” Paul’s first turn on stage with just his band was heavy on solo material such as “Crazy Love II” and the more recent “Dazzling Blue.” Following a Sting/Simon duet on “Fragile,” Sting treated the crowd to a solo version of Simon & Garfunkel’s “America.” More Police and Sting solo gems gave way to a duet on “The Boxer.” Simon’s second turn on stage included his “Kodachrome” / “Gone At Last” mashup that he’s performed on recent tours. The show came to a close with a four-song collaborative encore of “Every Breath You Take,” “Late In The Evening,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and “When Will I Be Loved.”
The tour continues tomorrow night at the Pepsi Center in Denver.
