The Omega Moos Announce Chicago Shows & New Lineup

Members of Umphrey’s McGee and theNEWDEAL will come together again as the 1970s/1980s cover band The Omega Moos for two shows at Park West in Chicago. The group has undergone another lineup change, this time adding drummer Nick Blasky of Ray’s Music Exchange.

UM guitarist Brendan Bayliss and bassist Ryan Stasik and TND keyboardist Jamie Shields will once again slip into their roles as Moos. Blasky replaces UM drummer Kris Myers, who himself replaced original Omega Moos drummer, former theNEWDEAL member Darren Shearer.

The 3.0 version of Omega Moos will perform at Park West on June 21 and June 22. Tickets to the pair of Chicago shows go on sale starting Friday, May 4 at 12 p.m. CT. More dates are expected to be added in the future.
