Official Willie Nelson Memoir Due In May

Musical legend Willie Nelson has collaborated with writer David Ritz to pen a memoir entitled It’s A Long Story: My Life that’s due May 5 via Little, Brown & Company. While Willie has penned a few books in the past, It’s A Long Story is said to “shine on a light on all aspects of his life, including his drive to write music, the women in his life, his collaborations, and his biggest lows and highs-from his bankruptcy to the founding of Farm Aid.”

It’s A Long Story, “conveys Nelson’s remarkable legacy-with his authentic, poetic voice shining through on every page. It’s time to hear the definitive word about Nelson’s incredible life story straight from the man himself-the only way this tale should be told” according to a press release. We look forward to reading Willie’s take on his own career this May.
