Official Video | Umphreys McGee Records Glory At Abbey Road

Earlier this month Umphrey’s McGee released The London Session, a new studio album recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London last summer. Today, the band has unveiled the official video for The London Session track “Glory” -an instrumental that dates back to guitarist Jake Cinninger’s early days in Umphrey’s which had never previously been released on a studio album.

At the beginning of the video we see Cinninger explain the vibe behind “Glory” which he describes perfectly as “rock and roll gospel.” Then, we get a front row seat as Jake and his mates lay down a studio version of “Glory” at Abbey Road. Umphrey’s refreshed their live arrangement of the beloved instrumental by giving keyboardist Joel Cummins a few piano breaks over the course of the tune. Take a look:
